At around l7 ounces, the paddle offers a Zaveral carbon fibre shaft mated with my own balsa blade. 11 degree angle. The blade has a more rounded bottom and a tip reinforced with an indestructible phenolic insert. These blades a plenty durable with double maple banding and the phenolic tip/edging (see options), and a nearly unbreakable shaft. A hand shaped 'D' grip comes with this paddle -- very comfortable.
