This paddle has a balsa blade with a carbon fibre shaft, and weights about 19 ounces. The shaft is a super strong Zaveral carbon shaft -- so its not going to break! The blade is a super gorgeous, super light, with nice flex, balsa/'cedar mix, with Maple banding around edges and a 'razor' tip -- super tough, thin, Walnut veneer tip with phenolic insert sandwich.
